The Humble Notebook Whether it´s a moleskin or a layout pad [for all non-designers this is a notepad with no lines printed on it], the importance of putting ideas down on paper should never be underestimated. From a young age we are taught to mind map, but it seems as though we throw this out of the window when the cash starts rolling in. It is very important for all creatives to carry a some form of notebook with them as often as possible to jot down ideas, thoughts or even just to doodle. Once you have put that idea down on paper you will easily be able to see whether it works or not and then you can simply let go of that idea and free your mind up for a few new ones.
